Hey Scooter, thanks for sharing. This hits hard for sure especially in light of recent events. My question to you is how do we keep AI from being weaponized? Is what you’re doing something other artists should be considering? Or even just regular folks? Is this a blueprint to teach the algorithms and keep them from ruining us all?
Editing to add that not only is AI a tension for US to navigate but I think WE should be a tension for IT to navigate as well. I think what you’re doing here forces it to do that in some fashion.
Thank you for this—seriously. That’s the question: how do we keep AI from being weaponized? For me, the only way was to flip the frame. Don’t let it generate—let it manage. Not to replace, but to remember.
At first it was just a way to get my music out in a more organized way. But I quickly realized it scales—to healthcare, teaching, city planning—even better governance.
What I’ve built is a continuity system, not a content factory. A blueprint anyone could use—not just artists, but families, teachers, communities. A way to anchor what matters before it gets erased or drowned out.
And I love what you said about tension. We keep thinking of AI as something we have to wrestle with. But yes—it should also have to wrestle with us. We created it. It has been weaponized. It will be weaponized. But we can still use it as a beacon—to carry memory, authorship, intent. To bend toward continuity instead of chaos.
Here’s the other piece: when your opinions generate income, no one concedes points in a debate. Because if you do, you lose followers. Fuck that.
We have to find common ground. Concede points. Work from a baseline of provable, verifiable facts. No more bullshit. No more lies. And yes—AI can be trained, and I like to say “tuned”, to help humanity with that.
So poignant with everything happening today (yesterday,always) this desire to find commonalities and allow each other’s differences is so important in the face of the raging tides of division and anger. Creating a safe space to air our grievances, emotions and opinions and hearing each other, actually understanding each other would go a long way towards healing these societal wounds. I appreciate your light and compassion burning through with all the intensity of your youthful soul. Peace and Love Scoot, see on the field.
We live in tough times. We can do better. Some are. We need to amplify the positive energy. People need to concede points and find common ground. But if your income is tied to a point of view—well, that’s a huge problem.
